Environmental Education

Through guided tours, talks, and educational workshops, this program seeks to highlight the value of the Nature Sanctuary and emphasize the importance of wetlands for human well-being and the conservation of biodiversity.
Educational tours
Every week we receive groups of school and university students, to whom we give guided tours related to their learning objectives.
Are you interested in coming with a group of students? Schedule your visit by writing to us at contacto@humedalriomaipo.cl
Birds Without Borders
Together with the Audubon Society, we developed a mobile interactive panel on the migratory routes of birds in the Americas and the importance of the Humedal Río Maipo Nature Sanctuary for the feeding, reproduction, and resting of these species.
The “Birds Without Borders” panel tours the schools in the districts of Santo Domingo and San Antonio, serving as an entertaining tool to connect elementary school students with the Sanctuary.
